How To Join Our Fellowship |

A person seeking membership in PRBC may do so in any of our worship services during the invitation hymn sung at almost all of our services. The person may come to the pastor during this time and state membership is desired. A counselor will be placed with God's Word and the individual to determine which membership is appropriate. Nothing will be done to embarrass or intimidate any person into making a decision. 1. Profession of Faith in Jesus: This decision is when one comes admitting their sin to God, believing Jesus was sent to die in their place for their sins, and accepting Him as Lord of their life, turning to God and beginning to live in accordance with His will for their life. |

2. Joining by Statement: This decision is when a person who has already made a profession of faith, and followed in believer's baptism in another Christian Church and seeking membership by stating these requirements have been met. 3. Joining by Letter: This decision is when a person desiring membership is in good standing of another Southern Baptist Church and asks to be accepted into membership upon promise of letter from the said church. In addition to these three ways of membership, PRBC according to church policy, requires a person to attend for six weeks in succession to show a desire to be an active member. It is strongly suggested for the new member to attend a new members class when taught during our Sunday School hour. Further questions concerning membership can be discussed by contacting the church office and a private meeting can be arranged. |
